Your assistance is needed!
For those of that you that are not aware (altho I have gone on about it a little!!!!) Myself and my fianc茅 shall be marrying in Central Park in NYC this October the 5th at 3pm.
We are currently on the look out for 1 or 2 (or more depending on your party size!) witnesses. We are marrying in secret hence it will only be myself and H2B travelling to NYC.
We were going to wait and grab a member of the public but having thought it over, all of you guys have been so great and offered so much valuable advice that we could have not got anywhere else, we would like to invite you to witness our marriage. I know many of you will have Itineraries full to burst but all we require is 30 mins to an hour of your time, well a little longer if you would like to join us for a celebratory drink (probably in the Boat House).
Please do post back if you are interested, we would welcome you with open arms.
Cheers very much in advance
Kerry and Ryan xx

Sounds good to me!
Did you decide on a location?

Hi Bettina
Is that an offer? You absolute STAR if so!
We%26#39;re waiting to hear from the officiate so we can discuss locations but I think it%26#39;ll either be Ladies Pavillion or Shakespears garden, do you know these?
The Shakespeare Garden is beautiful!
Thanks NYCforme. Is it all open or are there any parts undercover??
The date caught my attention! Myself and my wife are flying in from Belfast on the 5th (land @ Newark 11am). We%26#39;ve been to NYC for a weekend before and were also there about 10 years ago (just after university)
No firm plans as yet but we are only in the city for 2 days as we are off to a wedding in Albany.
I%26#39;ll keep an eye out for you in Central Park!
Kerry
Bettina sounds the person you are looking for.... I will be back in NY on the 1st Nov would have loved to seen your wedding.

Thank you mmca22gr, have yourselves a lovely hol!
And NETS, I have heard many lovely things about Bettina, she sounds great and would we be chuffed to bits to meet her and have a NY local witness our wedding :o)
Chuffed?
I like the Shakespeare Garden too. There%26#39;s no shelter there, but it%26#39;s just a sprint from the Belvedere Castle. There are a couple of shelters there, plus the castle itself. And the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theater is just at the foot of the Shakespeare Garden.
Have you gotten your permit to have the ceremony in Central Park?
Bettina no permit is required if it%26#39;s just the 2 of them plus witnesses. MikeLaw already checked into this I believe. I think you would need a permit to use the Conservatory Garden though b/c it%26#39;s such a popular place for photo shoots etc., but on a Wednesday afternoon, even there I%26#39;m not so sure it would be necessary.
I might be able to make this Kerry if you%26#39;re still looking for a witness. ;)
BTW, ';chuffed'; means thrilled, ecstatic, pleased etc.
