Songs of New York

Good morning, Forum Friends!

I%26#39;m on the final countdown for my trip to NYC (5 sleeps!), and one of the last things I want to do is to create a New York playlist on my iPod. I%26#39;m looking for inspiration.

Some titles thus far: ';New York City'; by They Might Be Giants and Cub, ';New York New York'; (of course) by Sinatra, plus I have a Mel Torme CD called ';Songs of New York';. Lots there.

What am I missing?

I%26#39;m not looking for songs that necessarily are about New York, but perhaps music that evokes a feeling about the city. For you non-natives, is there a song that reminds you of a memorable trip?

Any suggestions are appreciated. My tastes are somewhat eclectic (although, I must confess, I never got the New York Dolls) so anything goes!
