Brooklyn Bridge

Planning to walk the BB in October after some lunch/early dinner in Grimaldi Pizza (all thanks to this forum!!)

What streets do I get on and off the bridge? I always like to plan my routes :-) and want to see it all on Google Earth!

When i walked over last year i got on the bridge in Brooklyn on Adams street - right next to the Brooklyn US District Court Judge building.

Although jthomson is absolutely correct if you%26#39;re walking from say the Promenade via Montague St., if you simply want to get on the bridge after visiting Grimaldi%26#39;s, you turn left out of the resaurant, walk up Old Fulton St towards Cadman Plaza W and look for the signs and the steps up to the bridge.

At the other end, you leave the bridge and, almost immediately, you%26#39;re on Park Row (near City Hall Park).
