There%26#39;s not a whole lot near the Javits Center.
Just crosstown is the well-reviewed Cardamomm on Lexington and 27th St. I haven%26#39;t been there but hear good things.
Tabla (www.tablany.com) on Madison at 25th, also gets great reviews.
Or grab a cab and head for East 6th St. between 1st-2nd Aves. The entire street is wall-to-wall Indian restaurants. My favorites are Mitali (mid block) and Banjara (corner of 1st Ave.).
There%26#39;s also a chain of Indian restaurants, Baluchi%26#39;s, that%26#39;s actually pretty good.
