LOVED Hairspray--have seen it three times. Non-stop energy.

I would think your enjoyment of ';Movin%26#39; Out'; would be colored by your affection for Billy Joel and/or dance.

Go and see the two shows and write an honest report on this thread.

I have seen both and prefer Hairspray. I did not really enjoy movin out because it seemed they tried to force a storyline.

Hairspray is a more traditional, singing, dancing, fun Broadway spectacale.

If it%26#39;s between these two, go see Hairspray - I saw six shows on Broadway in the last couple of weeks - and this one had the best singing and dancing, wonderful sets and costumes, and also some catchy tunes. Bruce Vilanche is hilarious too.
