What to do????

I am only going to be in NY for 4 days and 4 nights. Could recommend things that must be done ie places to visit, things to see etc i am not into museums and but quiet like the idea of trips like going to Liberty Island. Any recommendations welcome.

What to do????

Last year, I took someone who only had one day here on a whirlwind tour of the city. We covered each area briefly since we had a time limit, but since you have 4 days, you can expand on it. We did not do any museums. Here%26#39;s what we did in order from morning to night: Central Park, take subway downtown to Ground Zero and St. Paul%26#39;s Church, walk to Staten Island Ferry and take ferry roundtrip (free) to see Status of Liberty, walk to South Street Seaport for lunch of famous Nathan%26#39;s hot dog, subway to Chinatown and Little Italy, subway to Grand Central Station, Chrysler Building, subway to Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick%26#39;s Cathedral (we could have walked it, but we were too tired by then), bus down Fifth Avenue to the Empire State Building and go up to the observatory, subway back to Times Square and the world%26#39;s largest Toys R Us (they have kids). Dinner at the theatre district and walk around theatre district after dinner. It was a busy day, but we did it all on a one day Metrocard with unlimited transportation on buses and subways.

Since you have 4 days, you may want to go see a Broadway show and as you said, see the Statue of Liberty. You can even travel to the outer boroughs.
