taxi to airport 9/11

i believe there wil be huge crowds around lower manhattan on the morning of 9/11.

i need to get a taxi from manhattan to jfk airport and was wondering if anyone would have any idea how this might affect me.

i don%26#39;t need to be at the airport until 7pm (latest) but i know there is also a service on west and morris street at sundown.

You are more than 50 blocks away from that area, why worry ?

not sure how much of lower manhattan may be closed or congested

From where you are it should not be a problem. Give yourself an hour and one-half to get there and that should be at JFK in plenty of time.
