Madame Tussauds and Coney island, worth a visit??

Hi all

From experience, do any of you feel that Madame Tussauds and Coney Island are worth a visit??

I have read on here previosuly that MT is over priced and not that good!?

Coney Island is worth a visit only in the summer, when everything is open, or if you were interested in visiting NYC%26#39;s only aquarium, or wanted to explore Brighton Beach, a neighborhood near Coney Island, home is a very large %26amp; vibrant Russian population.

MT is ok, but very expensive. You can get discount tickets at the visitors center in Times Square, or an www.destinationdiscounts.com. They seem to be raising the entrance fee very frequently.

We are in NY the first week of October, how is Coney Island at that time of the year?

Thanks for the tip on MT, we have been to both the one in London a few times and also the one in Blackpool, I guess when you%26#39;ve seen one you%26#39;ve seen them all!

The attractions will be closed by then, so to be honest, even though I recommend Coney Island in season, I would skip it.

Diva, you are from Oxford! Go to the REAL Md. Tussaud, in London :) Don%26#39;t come to America to do that, when you have the best one a couple hours away from you! :)

Ok, so its a bit further away than a couple of hours...:) Haven%26#39;t actually been there, but I do think that you should save MT for a trip to London, I have been there many times, its really fun!

There was a recent post on the London tripadvisor site about ';Most disappointing site on offer in London'; and the name which featured again and again was Madame Tussauds. Against this, however, people should probably see everything once and judge for themselves.

MT in London is about an hour and a half from me door to door, have been a couple of times. Like NYC tho it is pricy!!!

What about Coney Island the end of this month (28th - 10/1)?
