Tourist attractions as Christmas

Going to New York for 3 nights in December 14-17th. You were all kind enough to tell me the places to go and see. I just wondered how busy it is likely to be. Ive been before and the lines for Empire State Building and Statue of Libery were really quiet but this was in March. I am travelling with 2 friends who have not been before so will have to visit all the places of interest again. Just wondered should I be prepared for waiting in line for hours on end!!!

Tourist attractions as Christmas

March is the off-season and the time you are coming is peak season. So expect long lines everywhere. This is probably not the right time to visit the ESB or Statue of Liberty if you can avoid them. Times Square and most stores will be jam packed.

You can still get a good glimpse of Lady Liberty by grabbing a free ride on the Staten Island Ferry. As for views... you can get some good ones from some hotels like the Marriott Marquis in their restaurant ';The View,'; or from the Brooklyn Bridge.

I would make reservations for any show, such as the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, or fine dining experience well in advance.
