Part-owned by the one and only Robert DeNiro!

Celeb sightings are a bonus!

Very solid restaurant, and De Niro really does show up.

Cherrycoke - when I was a teenager, I drank Cherry Coke at the counter of my local drug store. In those days it was considered a very cool drink ;-)

Here%26#39;s the review of Tribeca Grill from newyorkmetro.com - I post it here because I personally agree with it. I%26#39;ve also posted links below it from people who wholeheartedly disagree. So go with your gut feeling.

It鈥檚 possible you鈥檒l spot Bobby or one of his actor buddies at De Niro鈥檚 downtown joint, but you鈥檙e likelier to spot platoons of out-of-towners, themselves hoping to spot Bobby. Large, colorful paintings by De Niro鈥檚 dad adorn the brick walls, and the center bar feels pleasantly Cheers-like. The 1,700-bottle wine list is impressive, though the food is nothing mind-blowing (especially given the prices). Consider it for a business lunch or for dinner with your parents next time they鈥檙e in town, since the green trim and trophy/plaque collection at the coat check create something of a country-club feel.

Do they serve cocktails, aswell as the impressive wine list?

Absolutley! They have a big four-sided Art Deco bar that was salvaged from the legendary Maxwell鈥檚 Plum.

I work in the area and have been a few times, and I%26#39;ve never seen a celeb there. But it is a very nice restaurant.

If you%26#39;re early, check out Bazzini%26#39;s down the street (south). Old world mom%26amp;pop fruit-n-nut wholesaler that survived gentrification and became a super yuppie grocery store. Instead of buying Bazzini%26#39;s snacks at Dean and Deluca, just get them there directly. Authentic New York City fruits and nuts!

(I%26#39;ll just wait here for Maidestone Nic....)
