Hotel/apartment for family of 5?

We are coming to new york in october and I%26#39;m looking for either an apartment or 2 rooms in hotel for 2 adults and 3 teenagers for 6 nights. reasonable rates, We will be doing museums, theatre trips and visiting friends, pref central location but not too fussed, don;t mind a bit of a walk. The teenagers need 3 separate beds/rollaways- they won%26#39;t share, which causes difficulties finding rooms. Yes I know you are going to say- I have left this very late - but can you help with suggestions?

What dates are you going? I%26#39;ve searched and can only find room that sleep three but have one double involved.....can%26#39;t you leave one behind ;)

Hotel/apartment for family of 5?

tempting to leave all 3 behind!

we%26#39;re arriving on tues 25 for 6 nights.

The only other way I can think of doing it (unless someone else comes up with some suggestions) is to book two rooms with two double beds in that would, however, mean one of them sharing with you.....

The Salisbury hotel is showing a room with a double bedroom, separate living area with sofa bed at 173.08 gbp per night on expedia might be worth seeing if they have two of those available.

Which they do according to expedia......also they get very good reviews on here for the price.....

Check out citylights.com. I stayed in one of their catered apartments and loved it, but they have uncatered apartments too, that may sleep 5. Or else search for hotel apartments in NYC, I found another website once for one on the upper west side, but can%26#39;t remember the name....Or, sorry to say this, but maybe two of the teens need to stop being so fussy and share a double bed! :) I used to share a bed with my brother, and even though we didn%26#39;t like it, we didn%26#39;t have much choice unless we wanted to sleep on the floor...

Thanks for these suggestions, I%26#39;ll take a look.

We usually do make our 2 boys share, but they hate it and as this is a trip for their birthday treat thought I shoud make an effort!

Well, that is nice of you! Here is one more link to hotel/apartments that I found :

http://www.radiocityapartments.com/

Also, I don%26#39;t know much about it, but here is a link that offers suites with 2 bedrooms for like 240 - 270$...

Good luck!!

Ditto Radio City Apartments - two bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in living area. Give them a try but I think you may ';have left this very late';! Keep it in mind for next time!

yes radio city apts full, but thanks anyway.

Citylights have an apt on 42nd st/hudson river - looks a great apt with stunning views, but slightly worried re location - seems very out of the way.

Can anyone guide me re this location? Will we spend ages each day getting to and from?
