Hotel Newton to South Ferry (how long)

Finally got round to thinking about our itinery this morning (on train from Cheshire to London today) - had my husbands full attention for 2 whole hours. Just wondered if anyone could tell me how much time to allow to get from Hotel Newton to Battery Park to get the Statue of Liberty Ferry (got to be there for 8am on a Monday morning)

Please don%26#39;t think i%26#39;m being rude by not responding to any kind person who replies - going to bed now, i%26#39;m exhausted after site seeing in London all day, great day doing all the touristy stuff - I%26#39;m even more excited about coming to New York. Only 3 more weeks to go.

Hi Cathy. NYCgirl is spot on with her estimate of 45mins. Catch the #1 from 96th Street but make sure you sit in the front of the train as only the first 5 cars open when you get to South Ferry.
