First trip to NY/NJ need some advise.

I%26#39;m heading to the Jets game next weekend on Sunday the 18th. I would like to visit some sites in NYC on Saturday though. Still need to book a flight and hotel. Can anyone advise as to the best airport to fly into and a safe clean hotel/place to stay would be? Initially I planned to fly into Newark and stay by the airport but after reading some reviews I%26#39;ve found it to be not such a nice place. Thanks for the help in advance!

Since your games is in Giants Stadium, I%26#39;d fly until into Newark unless you get a terrific bargain for another airport.

There are some nice hotels in Secaucus that are literally minutes from Giants Stadium and some have shuttles, but you%26#39;ll have to call them yourself to see if they are will take you to/from the football game. I%26#39;m sure a little $$ to grease the palms might work.

There are some suites hotel near Newark Airport. The only thing is you%26#39;ll probably need a car to get to your game unless there is a NJ Transit bus you can take.
