what is the best way to travel for 2 from newark airport to hotel in times square area and about how long will it take?

thanks for any help. Will I be able to make a show at 8 pm if the plane lands at 3 pm in Newark.

Book a car service in advance. They will pick you up at baggage claim and drive you to your hotel. You are arriving at the beginning of rush hour so plan two or three hours to get to the hotel (depending on traffic incidents). About 15 minutes to check in to your hotel. We%26#39;re now at 5 or 6 PM. A bit of food will help. If possible eat at the hotel or a local restaurant. Now we%26#39;re at about 6:45 PM. Then head off to the show and plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before curtain call. Closing in on 7:30 PM. 15 minutes to mill about and look at stuff. 15 minutes to use the facilities and get seated. Take a cab back to your hotel and unpack the following day.

thanks for your help. May not try the show as don%26#39;t want to feel that rushed, there are plenty of other things we can do. Or I may look at changing my airline ticket.

Your travel options are car service, train or bus. Depending on budget I would either choose the car service or the shuttle bus ($15/person) to Port Authority bus terminal.
