sheraton hotel 53rd st from JFK pls advise air train
I am actually very pro-AirTrain. Waiting in line for the taxi dispatcher at the JFK can take a forever...and you avoid traffic. Most of the AirTrain stations are connected to their terminals via tunnel, so its pretty convenient even for mass transit. Your route would be the same as the other AirTrain thread.
You want to catch AirTrain to Jamaica Station. (Check the electronic sign above the sliding doors before boarding the train.) From there, you catch an E train to 50th st station, which will put you at 50th and 7th ave. (3 blocks from the hotel)
The connection at Jamaica is very easy, well marked with signs, and an elevator that takes you directly to subway entrance. (The Manhattan bound E will be to your right, when you take the escalator down to the platform.)
It%26#39;s $5 per person, and you pay at Jamaica not the airport. Note: you pay via vending machine, so be sure to either have a credit card, or US $5 bills handy. The subway is an additional $2.

So the price for the trip is $7 for adults ($5 + $2 for the subway) If your child is under 44 inches the subway is free for her so her trip is just the $5 AirTrain. So for 3 of you, the AirTrain/subway ride into the city is $19.
If you are coming from Sydney and will have been traveling for a long time, you might prefer a taxi or car service for convenience and door to door service. That will cost about $60 (flat fare of $45 plus toll and tip).
thank you for all of you
it save us $44 dallars.
even much fast
