Madison Square Garden

Hi...We will be in the City from 23-26 of October to attend Cream concert at Madison Square Garden. I%26#39;ve been to the city many times before but have never gone to the Garden. We will be staying, probably at Crowne Plaza Times Square. I was wondering if it%26#39;s within a reasonable walking distance or what would be the recommend mode of transportation with heavy traffic. Any help will be greatly appreciated. THANKS

You can walk down Broadway to Times Square, where it intersects with 7th Ave., and then walk down to 32nd Street and the Garden. Or you could take the #1 Downtown train from 50th %26amp; Broadway (turn left outside your hotel, you%26#39;ll find the subway entrance just around the corner of 50th St.), and take it to 34th St. By bus, both the M10 and the M20 run down Broadway and then turn and continue down 7th Ave.

You can easily walk the distance from 48th and B%26#39;way to 34th and Seventh. If you take the train, it will only be two stops.

Bring earplugs.
