Am coming to NYC in Oct to take my 14 year old niece arriving in Newark. Would like the recommendation of a reasonable car service to pick us up and take us to our hotel in the city - then pick up up and take us to a wedding in NJ when we leave.

Thank you for the info! Wedding is in (?) Short Hills - I think that is correct.

I%26#39;m not that familiar with New Jersey but Short Hills is an upscale suburb of NYC and I%26#39;m sure there%26#39;s public transportation if you want to save some money. There%26#39;s a nice shopping mall in Short Hills and I know you can get there by bus (you might have to change). If you want to investigate that option I%26#39;d post a new thread and title it something like getting from NYC to Short Hills NJ. You might also post on the NJ forum here where you%26#39;ll find people who live in NJ maybe. ;)

Short Hills has a NJ Transit (www.njtransit.com) train station.

If you can find someone to pick you up at the train station, that would be the way to go; or pre-arrange a taxi

Take the Morristown (aka Midtown Direct) train from NYC Penn Station.
