Fall Foilage

I%26#39;m doing some early planning to come to NY to view the fall foilage. I would like to go through the Catskill area plus Buffalo on to Toronto, Canada and back through the Thousand Island area.

When is the best time to plan a two week trip knowing there may be some give and take with nature.

generally speaking the month of October is usually ';ablaze'; w/the multi- colors of fall foliage in the catskill%26#39;s , mostly dictated by the weather %26amp; ... You%26#39;ll find the ';peak'; week usually announced closer to the season. the drive west on rt. 23 going up mountain towards the town of Windham has spectacular views .(Point Lookout has a five state view to die for). Log onto (Greene Tourism.com) to check out the whole county. Good Luck !
