new york

i am going to new york beginning november. not to sure how cold will it will be. can anyone advise me what clothes to bring.

also what are the best things to do whilst i am there?

new york

About as cold as the UK - we went end of Nov and needed hats and gloves but these may not be needed early Nov. Have a look at this site as it gives weather history www.wunderground.com/US/NY/New_York.html

As for things to do it depends what you like - there%26#39;s museums, Empire State, Statue of Liberty, Times square and then loads of different diverse areas such as soho, nolita, little Italy, Chinatown, Greenwich etc. I suggest investing in a guidebook, flicking through and writing down a list of things you fancy doing - if you then post back people will be able to tell you if they think it%26#39;s worth doing or not?

The average temperature in NY for October is 57 and for November is 47, so I would say the beginning of November would be still mid 50s.

';Best'; is too subjective for me to interpret :)

Yes, you need to be more specific.

Have you checked the tourism sites?

As eastcoastgirl stated in a previous post:

';It鈥檚 like asking what the best movie is and then being disappointed when someone comes up with Citizen Kane..... If you want something else then only you can choose it.';
