University Club???

A friend of mine has suggested that we can stay at the University Club on our visit to NY. Has anyone heard of this place?

The only University Club I know is the one on the corner of Fifth Avenue, in the low to mid 50s. It%26#39;s a private club. Many of these clubs have accommodations for overnight stays by members or their guests.

How did your friend get in or know about it?

It%26#39;s a beautiful building just off Fifth ave. If your friend is a member you can stay. I%26#39;ve never seen the rooms but have eaten there (although at the time they weren%26#39;t too keen on having women...).

There are a number of private clubs around the city that have rooms for members and their guests including the Metropolitan Club, the Harvard Club, the NY Yacht Club, Harmonie, Union League, Union, Colony, Lotos, Players, Century and more.
