It looks like several of the broadway discounts end in early October. Are the chances of getting reduced priced tickets pretty slim from then on?
Shows we are considering: Avenue Q, Rent, Lion King... Any other suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
(We are trying to decide if we should wait it out or go ahead and pay full price now.)
Thanks
broadway prices???
Rent is always available on discount so I%26#39;d wait on that. The others are usually NOT available with discount anyway so paying full price may be your best bet.
broadway prices???
I should have added it also depends on when you%26#39;re coming. Often discounts are not good for Sat. night performances. If you%26#39;re coming over a holiday that makes things harder. I%26#39;d still wait for a discount on Rent whether through a code or at the TKTS booth but the others are harder and may be worth paying full price.
Oct 7-9 is Columbus Day weekend and many discounts are blacked out those days as well
you%26#39;ll have to pay full price for Lion King

I%26#39;m not sure how many of you there are, but both Rent and Avenue Q sell some day of the show tickets for $20. Rent%26#39;s are in the first two rows. The sell them through a lotto system. Check out their website or call the box office for more info, as I am not sure of the time they hold the drawing - it%26#39;s a few hours before the performance, but you put your name into a hat and they pick names. Each person gets two tickets max. It%26#39;s surprisingly easy, as it depends on how many people show up.
Thank you for the replies. Given your advice, I think we will go ahead and purchase Avenue Q tickets now. I like the lottery ida for Rent.
Your help is really appreciated.
