Hi -
We%26#39;re coming up to the city for a one night stay (have tickets to the early Christmas show at Radio City, and really are looking for a place to stay overnight so we don%26#39;t have to get up at 3:00 a.m. to drive up - we%26#39;re from Philadelphia). Any suggestions for a reasonably priced hotel in the Rock Center area for a family of four (I tried Radio City Apts. but they%26#39;re all booked)... thanks for your help!
Thanksgiving Weekend hotel help
You%26#39;ll find budget hotels fully booked for Thanksgiving weekend way in advance.
Try locations out of midtown, you might have better luck. If you%26#39;re driving, take a look at the Travel Inn, which offers free parking.

Just start making calls. Last year my sister%26#39;s family decided only about 1.5 weeks before to go to NYC for the Macy%26#39;s Parade. She called up the Belvedere at my recommendation and was able to get a room for 3 nights. I thought for sure that they would have been booked for months, but they had no problem getting a room. So start calling around, maybe some hotel has just one room for just one night that will work perfectly for you.
